Queenie Puffinberger, and the Eclectic Mayhem got together for a non-canon one-shot to test out some stuff for a
GURPS Expedition to the Barrier Peaks demo game.
GM: “Your travelling companion, Fireball, glows brightly and puts a torch or lantern to shame.”
Magnus: “Yeah, but we can’t just throw a blanket over him . . ..”

Fireball: “You’re not a good thief, are you?”

GM: “It appears to be an indoor outhouse.”
Seven: “The big pit wasn’t the toilet! Anything else in here?”
GM: “Make a search roll.”
Seven: “By six.”
GM: “You find these three sea shells . . ..”

Seven: “Follow me. And try to be quiet.”

Seven (OOC): “And now I roll an eighteen . . ..”

GM: “Fireball does not have stealth—no part of Fireball is stealthy!”

GM (OOC): “Other than short attention span?”

Queenie (OOC): “Parker [her cat]! Stop being a naughty noodle! I’m going to give you some corporal cuddling!”
GM (OOC): “Those sound like Tick-level super villains.”

GM: “Seven, are you going to try to finish standing up?”
Seven: “No, I’m going to crawl over to the robot. Is it warm?”
GM: “Um.”
Seven: “If it is even remotely warm, I’m going to cuddle up to it and go to sleep. That
hurt.”
