That sounds workable. Whatever camera equipment is used for underwater cinematography, possibly with light amplification of some sort. Also, spotlights illuminating comparatively tiny areas of a vast oppressive darkness at the bottom of the ocean as a submarine investigates a mysterious wreck is
very evocative.
