FWIW, I'm pretty sure the answer to 1 is yes and 3 is no, but I'm genuinely unsure about 2 and interested in other people's opinions on the others.

I'd go with yes, yes, and no.
I'm not sure about the RAW on 1, but I'd allow it. The main reason I say no for number three is bookkeeping.
