New Traits since Basic
There have been quite a few traits (Advantages, Disadvantages, Skills, etc) added to GURPS 4e since the original publication of Basic in 2004.
I have compiled a list of all of those traits I can find, along with the source book/page reference. Since it is not uncommon for someone on the forums to reference a trait which others then have to try and find, I thought I'd share my lists for general reference. Some new traits have already been collected together in more recent publications, such as: PU2:Perks, PU3:Talents and PU4:Enhancements! Traits from Basic will not be listed, not will those from any of these later compilations (since that is there purpose). I do not own around 30x 4e books, so naturally these lists do not contain any traits from those volumes - I will try and remember to update these lists should I purchase these in the future, or if anyone else has these volumes and wants to post a list of any new traits, I'll merge them into my lists. It might also be useful to post a confirmation if a book contains no new traits, so it can be marked as DONE. Books not checked: Alphabet Arcane, Big Lizzie, Casey & Andy, Creatures of the Night, Vol. 2-5, Crusades, Dungeon Fantasy 14:Psi, Dungeon Fantasy 15: Henchmen, High-Tech: Pulp Guns, Volume 1 & 2, Infinite Worlds: Britannica-6, Infinite Worlds: Collegio Januari, Infinite Worlds: Lost Worlds, Infinite Worlds: Worlds of Horror, Lair of the Fat Man, Locations: Hellsgate, Locations: Worminghall, MacGuffin Alphabet, Martial Arts: Fairbairn Close Combat Systems, Reign of Steel: Will to Live, SEALs in Vietnam, Thaumatology: Age of Gold, Thaumatology: Alchemical Baroque, Transhuman Space: Martial Arts 2100, Transhuman Space: Personnel Files 2 - The Meme Team, Transhuman Space: Personnel Files 5 - School Days For the moment at least, any new traits published in Pyramid will not be included. Traits will be listed in alphabetic order, with a Book/Page Reference. No other details of the traits will be listed. |

Re: New Traits since Basic
Please post comments, errors, anything I've missed, or data from those books not (yet) covered.
Thanks. |
Re: New Traits since Basic
Blessed (Font) would be for the Typesetter template, yes? :)
Looks really useful! Will you add Techniques as well? |
Re: New Traits since Basic
Well done! And thanks for the hard work. These lists not only point me quickly to items I need to look up, they give me ideas on what products to buy next.
That being said, while I see what SJG is trying to do by allowing these traits to be scattered among different pubs, I'd still like to see them gathered in one place, a la the old Compendium I and II. |

I'll add it to my To Do List, but it probably won't be particularly soon. Combat Techniques are listed in Martial Arts, and GURPS Martial Arts Techniques Cheat-Sheet (FREE!) Techniques don't come up that often do they? at least not non-Combat ones? |
