Wheeling and Dealing with levels?
Let's say I'm up against multiple monsters (or a single monster that gives 2 levels - or, heck, a single monster that gives a single level but has such horrible Bad Stuff that you absolutely don't want to lose to it) - Can I get someone to help me in exchange for the levels I would have been awarded?

Re: Wheeling and Dealing with levels?
No. The rules are rather specific and succinct about what you can offer as a reward to a helper: "You may offer your helper any Item(s) you are currently carrying, or any number of the Treasure cards the monster has." The only way a helper can get Levels is with the help of a card (e.g., Elf from Munchkin and its expansions).

Yeah, if you have a Go Up A Level card in your hand, you could offer to play it on them, but you can't give them a level you gain from the combat.

Yes, you can offer to use a GUAL card on the helper if you'd like.

Re: Wheeling and Dealing with levels?
Regardless of other ways you might possibly be able to help someone gain a level, you still can't give the levels rewarded by killing the Monster to another player. Items the helper receives can be sold, of course, once the helper gets to his turn, or the helper might be able to choose a GUAL from the Treasures earned, and the main combatant can even offer to play a GUAL on the player. But, none of these ways involve rewarding the helper with level rewards from killing a Monster, which was the question asked, so muddying a discussion in the 101 forum with such side issues needs to come to an end, I think.
