Kicking down a curse card
So the way I was taught when I first learned Munchkin was if you kick down a curse, the curse resolves and you skip straight to charity. Now that I own a few sets, I've read the rules up and down and found no rule.
My question is, "Can you loot the room or look for trouble after you kick down a curse?" |

Thanks for your standing. I'll be sure to clarify this next time I host a game.

From the rules:

(Kicking a monster open sounds kinda gross... especially if it is the Floating Nose!) |
Re: Kicking down a curse card
Yeah, like everyone else said, your turn continues on after you draw a curse card. However, the curse still affects you, so it's not all great.

Re: Kicking down a curse card
I'm pretty sure that curse description was how they were played prior to the 2010 rule change. Curses probably started allowing you to Loot the Room when the spoils of combat were moved to the Combat Phase rather than part of Looting the Room.
In any case, if you are not playing in a tournament and you are using an old set which lists it in the rules, you can still use the old rule if you want. |

The old rules are the same as the new rules regarding Curses.

Fair enough, I guess this is just a common mistake that people used to make in that case.
