Custom Card Box Art
I was introduced to Munchkin earlier this year and instantly fell in love with it. I began to introduce all of my friends to this great game, including the woman I began dating a few months ago. In between my very meager paychecks I began buying expansions and soon I had to buy a card box in order to hold all my cards.
Since my girlfriend is an aspiring artist, she wouldn't let me use just any old plain, white box. She grabbed her art supplies and went to work. I now have a very munchkiny card box to store my decks in which I just have to share with all my fellow Munchkin players! As of right now shes just got the box top decorated though she may do the sides as well. If she continues to decorate, Ill post even more. It's hard to comment on as there are strict rules about what you can and can't post on the forums, particularly to do with card art, suggested card text and the Munchkin logo, which is registered now. I'm not a mod, so I could be being too cautious here, but that's why I'm wary of the thread.
Having a look at the info in the Critical Links and Useful Information thread, especially the Online Policy stuff, might be a good idea. |

I don't want to get into trouble or anything, but I like the work done on this card box, I am getting ready to buy a second copy of the boxes of holding, because I just ordered the 8th expansion and my doors box is packed full, so yeah in any case I like this, I just don't want you to get in trouble over this thread.

Thanks for the thumbs up of approval. I have no hard feelings or anything, Im sure my fellow players were just trying to abide by the rules. Ill gladly put the links back up to show off this great box. To Everyone Else, No worries! Just to assuage any other concerns or worries: this was a one time present for me. Shes not making copies of these for people, for either pay or free. Id love to hear yall's comments now that everything is smoothed out. |

Now that I know it's safe to discuss, that box is pretty awesome, yes. It was a great idea to take the progressive pictures so we can see it being built up over time. Who decided upon which cards to use? It's a really good choice of some of the most iconic cards and the arrangement is very appealing.
Infranyuszi, your box is great too. How long did it take you to make it? Were you inspired by the Sammlerbox at all? And yeah, lesson learned on how to handle wariness about posts... I thought the report button was only for when we were pretty certain of infringement, not for when we were just wary of discussing it. I certainly wasn't trying to jump on anyone's back here, it was just the only way that I could figure out how to express why I wasn't posting, but I can see how it came across that way in retrospect. |

Clipper! Yes, i was inspirated by the Sammlerbox, i used its sizes.:) I made the roofing from a wine box, because that was the only way i could do the slide of it. In Hungary, we have translated only the Munckin 1, Munchkin 2 (Unnatural Axe), Munchkin 3 (Clerical Errors), Munchkin 4 (The Need For Steed) , Munchkin 5 (De-Ranged), so we mixed together the door cards and the treasure cards (separeted of course), and we use it together. It took 3-4 mounth, because i had not enough free time, but i did another box from wood, and it tokk only 2 weeks. :) Unfortunately in hungary we always have to wait 1-2 years for the new parts in our language .. but we still waiting for it. :) |

Added another picture of the box. She added a few things including the Munchkinomicon, The Floating Nose, and another Cultist.
