Future Kickstarter - Munchkin Themed Fluxx?
 

A joint venture between two of the most awesome game designers out there, the universe might just collapse from all the crazy. I posted about this a few years ago, and with the success of the Ogre kick-starter can't help but wonder if this process might work for other ideas. With Monty Python and now Wizard of Oz it isn't unprecedented for Looney Labs to license existing properties, and a full-on collaboration between the SJG and LL would make for an epic product. I don't know how the business aspects of it would be worked out, but by the nine divines would this game be fun :D

The idea of a card game based on another card game is a little much, IMHO.

Well, OK, I admit to being briefly intrigued when I heard about "Crazy Old Fish War", but that was a mash-up of several card games that, individually, were not of much interest, but promised some amusement when glommed together.

This would be basing one card game on another, or, at best, mashing-up two card games I already enjoy into something that SEEMS (to me at least) like it would not improve on either.

Also, I think this goes along with other licensing suggestions that we prefer not to have brought up here. When SJG has a license they want to discuss publicly, they well bring it up all on their own. For now, I'm closing this thread.
