Comprehensive List of Skills/Advantages/Disadvantages
 

Just to make character creation easier. Is there something like a comprehensive list of skills, advantages and disadvantages? In excel?

It seems like all these items are scattered between a couple of different source books (basic, compendium, ths core book, the different supplementary books).

I find it very difficult to create a character if I have to go through all these books. I know there is this character builder. But it includes a lot of not applicable items. There is also just a drop-down menu and not a real list.

Anybody who has already done the work?

The usual solution is GURPS Character Assistant. You load the data files for Basic Set, THS Changing Times, and maybe Bio-Tech, Ultra-Tech and Martial Arts. It is not free, but it is not expensive either.

The GURPS Trait Sorter is good for coming up with a list of what fits in a given campaign.

GURPS Character Sheet is a free java based character program. It doesn't have descriptions for each (dis)ad/skill but it does tell you book and page number.

It looks like he's still using 3e, and IIRC Armin dropped 3e support awhile ago.

You can look for an old version of the GURPS character assistant. The Shareware-version is still around. I used 2.0 until I converted to 4e about 2 years ago.
