Axe Cop - Cat Suit item(s) question
 

Just picked up Axe Cop this weekend. It is hilarious. My little 5 and 9 year old cousins had a blast watching and playing.

A question arose about the Cat Suit during play, and my googlefu failed me in finding the answer.

If a PC has Cat Suit equipped and his ally has it as well, what is the total bonus? There were three interpretations and totals for the Cat Suit's special bonus ability regarding having it equipped on PC and Ally. Which one below (if any) is right?

[+2 for PC suit] + [+2 for Ally suit] + [+3 for special bonus] = +7 total


[+3* for PC suit] + [+3* for Ally suit] = +6 total
*+3 because text said gives you a +3 bonus and was thought to mean the suit increase from 2 to 3


[+5** for PC Suit] + [+5** for Ally suit] = +10 total
**+5 because they added +3 special bonus to both suits

Totally going from memory here, but the bonus for each should go from +2 to +3, for a total of +6.

Thanks! That is what I decided upon for the night. I believe there is the word "extra" in the special bonus description, and it was that which was throwing off the totals.

You get an extra +3, for a total of +7 (+2 for each Cat Suit, +3 extra).

Even better! One more question concerning the Cat Suit. IF one player were ever to have all three Cat Suits in the game equipped, does the Bonus +3 stack?

Unfortunately, that "extra" was apparently not floating around in my head... :-)

No. It's a flat +3 for you and at least one Ally being Cat Suited.
