Extra Feints

Extra Attack allows multiple feints in one turn, as seen in Basic Set pg. 38 "You may use some of your attacks for Feint maneuvers." I know it is probably common sense, but if you make multiple feints against one opponent, the penalties to the enemy's defense stack, right?

No, they don't. See Martial Arts pg.127. Only your most recent Feint applies.

Re: Extra Feints

You need at least 3 attacks a round to make multiple feints useful. As Dinadon says only the most recent feint affects your attack, but if you have 3 attacks you could:

1st attack: feint
2nd attack: attack with feint bonus
3rd attack: feint

Next round
1st attack: attack with feint bonus from last attack from previous round
2nd attack: feint
3rd attack: attack with feint bonus

and so forth.

With 4 attacks it's even better as you can: attack, feint, attack feint on each round.

It's still useful with 2 attacks. You can feint two opponents and then attack them both on the following turn or AoA: Double for a Feint, Attack, Feint.

If you last Attack is a feint, you don't need a feint in the middle on the following turn, the feint applies to all of your attacks on the next turn. So every trun after the first you can

1st attack: attack with feint bonus from last attack from previous round
2nd attack: attack with feint bonus from last attack from previous round
3rd attack: feint - to set up next turns attacks

Actually, it seems that since a Feint applies to the whole next turn if it is the last thing you do this turn, you probably can do:
1
Feint
Attack against reduced defences
Feint
2
Attack against reduced defences
Attack against reduced defences
Attack against reduced defences

-----------------

At least so it seems. Might want to check with someone higher up. Lately, literal interpretations on my part seem to be considered counter to the intent of the rules by many, including Kromm.

Re: Extra Feints

hmm, I hadn't realized that. So it's really best when you have more than 2 attacks to just end each attack sequence with a feint setting you up for the next round.

Against that target. You'll need to feint twice (or whatever) to affect multiple foes.

Yes Yes, your feint is on'y good against the person you feinted against, and you can't transfer it's benefits to your pals, the defense penalty only applies to your attacks.

Yeah, so the only reason to feint more than once a turn is to do so against multiple foes. That was what I was trying to get at above (albeit unclearly).
