Some questions
1. If you currently have an item (say a footgear) "equipped" and you draw a new one that you'd rather use, are you allowed to stop using the one currently equipped (by turning it sideways), or do you have to sell it or discard it through other means
2. If a monster has a +5 bonus against something (ex: dwarves) and another +5 one against another type. Do they only compound if it says (+10 if both). 3. Can the B.O curse counter the effects of doppleganger? |
Re: Some questions
1. Yes, you are allowed to, provided it's your turn. At any point in your turn outside of combat, you can change which items you are using and not using. You can also carry as many footgear as you want to simultaneously. The restriction is that you can only use one pair at any one time. Thus, you don't have to unequip the ones you are wearing to put the other pair into play (although you would need to put the other pair into play sideways).
Edit: I might add that this is where my flowcharts might come in handy. You'll see that you can switch your items equip status on any of the orange arrows. 2. The FAQ covers this: Quote:

Re: Some questions
Okay, I understand now. Thanks guys. I did think of one more question. to the curse b.o card.
It says that no other munchkin will help. What I'm wondering do cards such as kneepads of allure or the bard's enthrall ability, override that? It seems like it would. I'm not sure since both of the above cards/abilities involve forcing them to help |

The kneepads and enthrall don't override B.O.. If you can't get help, you can't force someone to help. |
Re: Some questions
I don't know what happened, when I first read the posts, one of the answers was very different from what it is now.
As for the last question. That's what I thought. I wasn't sure though. |
Re: Some questions
Andrew changed the ruling, put it in the FAQ, but forgot to tell me, that is all.
