In Steve Jackson's 2012 Report to Stakeholders, he mentions that a version of Munchkin for the Xbox Live is being developed.

Nice, now I have a reason to get an Xbox down the road, not that I will tell the wife why and still use it to build a new computer rig for beside the television.

We have not received any acceptable proposals from people wanting to work on a PS3 version.

You have no idea how excited I am about this - one of our group moved off to Chicago last year, and we haven't been able to get together for our regular games of Munchkin. The XBox version is going to eventually solve that...assuming it comes out before he moves back.
