Got in while in transit, devoured it on the next flight.

Overall, I like it, but it could have used a few more weird dungeon fantasy tropes. I don't think there are nearly enough traps, cursed altars, or random physical challenges. Some of that could easily be added to the grotto or hidden fortress, though.

The basic concept is good, and I like the roving bands of rival adventurers.

How many sessions should it cover?

That depends on the players, I trotted it out to three different groups while it was in playtest and had one group finish in a blistering all-nighter, another took 4 and the last one didnt get half-way through over 6 sessions before a TPK (VERY bad luck with dice rolls all around).
