Few questions about

Hi guys, i have been playing Munchkin not so long, but already have Unnatural Axe expansion. I have read rules and FAQ, but still have few questions. Hope to find answers:

1. What if somebody get Divine Intervention card face down, but didn't show it (it's not fair, but still). After few turns he discarded Divine Intervention and another door card above it, so nobody noticed it. Question is: does such behavior is acceptable, or we need to cut off his finger?
2. Is it possible to use Steal a Level card at munchkin, whos level is 1? I guess he will not lose his only level, but will i get a level?
3. Jabberwock monster in Bad stuff let me choose: to lose all my items or all my levels (down to 1 level) - may choose to lose all items if i don't have any?
4. Assume i fight alone vs. monster and get a Doppleganger. After it i was backstabed, cursed by Curse! Lose Your Class, Curse! Lose Your Race and Curse! Change Sex. Will something from this take effect on my doppleganger? And another question at once: will doppleganger go away, if i would take assist from another munchkin?

that's all for begin, i think, i will ask more questions in future) Many thanks for your help!

1. Such behavior is not acceptable and he should be warned to not do it again. Repeated behavior should earn that person a ban from playing.

2. No. You have to play it on someone it affects.

3. No. You have to have items to lose to choose that option.

4. Don't know. Maybe someone else knows.

If it was a mistake, correct them. If its intentional, it's cheating and personally I wouldn't play with them.

There would be no reason to do this as it would have no effect. You would not get a level as there is none to steal.

Nope. If you have no items you must go down to one level. If general with Bad Stuff if you you have two options to take and one has no effect then you must take the other option.

Doppleganger is an exact copy of you at all times. So if you lose your Race, Class and Change Sex, or lose a piece of equipment that causes your Combat Level to drop, so does your doppleganger. I'll have to look at the card to see about the back stabbing though, he may count as a separate combatant.

Once you have a doppelganger you CANNOT ask for assistance. It would be like asking two munchkins to help you in a fight.

The Doppleganger doubles your combat strength. If you get backstabbed, that affects your combat strength. Using the Doppleganger is pretty straightforward:
  1. Figure out your combat strength, double it.
  2. If something changes your combat strength, see step 1.

Correction: we've ruled in the past that you CAN ask for assistance, but you lose the benefit of your Doppelganger once someone else joins the fight, and you don't get the card back.

Interesting, so by that logic a Gnome could still ask for help after playing a Monster as an Illusion, so log as he discarded the monster that was helping him?

Correct, though I'm probably going to search the forums to see if I'm making myself a liar.
