Quick General Questions
1. Can I destroy Divine Intervention with Anihilation before cleric gets his tenth level and wins the game?
2. Can I play GUAL cards anytime, even in the middle of a battle? 3. Can I draw treasures of a monster vanished with Potion of Disbelief if it was the only monster in battle? 4. When you use Vorpal Blade and you get the +10 bonus from it, does a monster enhancer (e.g. monstrous) changes his name thus losing its bonus? 5. Cards like Baby Oil let you run away from only one monster? What happens in a multiple monster battle? 6. Can I play Senseless Act of Kindness to go up a level even if I dont have any items? 7. If I lose my Dwarf Race what happens to my extra big items, do I have to throw them away, can I trade or sell them? 8. If I have in play Fake Ears/ Fake Beard and I am Halfing, do the bonuses against Halfings affect me, or am I well-covered? |

2.) Once the level is gained, a Lose A Level curse wouldn't work. (For instance, if Divine Intervention is played, causing a Cleric to go to Level 10, a Lose A Level curse won't help.) However, since in the vast majority of cases the winning level is gained by winning a combat against a monster, and the Munchkin, even if they are defeating the Monster(s), must wait a reasonable amount of time for opponents to respond before declaring combat over and taking levels/treasure, you are perfectly able to play said curse on them when it becomes obvious that they are going to win, BEFORE they take their level. If, however, you sit there and do nothing, and combat is declared over and they take the level, I don't think you can THEN jump in and say, "Oops, I meant to make you lose a level." Unless the person you are playing against is VERY generous. |
