Terminal Condition and Linked abilities

If I have two or more abilities connected by a Link (+10%) they all act as a whole and are used simultaneously.

Now let's say I want to apply a Terminal Condition (p. P112) so that the ability ceases to function once that condition is met. Do I apply it to all the linked abilities?

AS I understand, yes, unless you get the 20% link for the powers without terminal condition.

You don't have to, if that's what you mean. It's possible to have one linked effect terminated while another has its normal duration.

With Link (+10%), the abilities must be used together. Although I guess "used" could be seen to mean "activated", in which case two linked abilities could activate together, one terminates, and the other keeps working for the rest of its normal duration.

That seems to be the definition of 'use', both in the sense of a noun and a verb, as it applies to GURPS, as evidenced by the text of traits such as Limited Use. One activation equals one 'use'... what happens to the effect after that is separate.
