Full Armor

I don't like piecemeal armor. To me, it's just a big headache. That's why I've been using the armor suits from GURPS Lite.

Are there any options in the Low-Tech books for buying full suits of armor, so that I don't have to check and re-check two or three times to make sure I've covered all the hit locations?

Not really. Your best option is just to create a "full" set by making each item separately, and then summing the totals.

I don't have the books here but if you look up the Torso armour in Low-Tech and multiply cost and weight by 3, you should get a decent approximation for a full suit.

It has been noticed that all the hit locations added together come to 305%. Thus, just triple the cost and weight, and you'll be covered, so to speak.

By three, huh? I tried something similar before, taking the Torso armor from the BS and multiplying its cost and wight by two, but something didn't seem right.

A good point, especially for the GM, which wants to handle NPCs without needing to stat them trait by trait . . .

It won't work with Basic Set figures. The weights in Low-Tech have been revised.
