Amazon monster with Multiple Monsters
 

We came across this in a game a week or two ago where my friend, A, kicked open the door and the Amazon was there. Then a Wandering Monster was played and we got into a heated debate. Since A was female, the Amazon would not attack her, but give her a treasure, but then would the Amazon's level not add up with the second monster?

We couldn't decide and ended up just going with no the Amazon would give you a treasure (if you were a girl) and then leave, leaving you to fight that second Wandering Monster.

The Amazon will leave immediately, the combat total will NOT add to that of the Wandering Monster. Though the wandering monster may still enter the combat as the "only" monster in the combat.

Cool, thanks! I searched another forum earlier this morning (while I was heavily multitasking unfortunately) and didn't see anything about it. I tried searching the forums, too, but nothing came up, so I think my search-fu failed me earlier. Anyway, thanks for answering :)

Note that although the Amazon leaves immediately, the treasure that she "gives" to the female munchkin may not be claimed until the combat is over. So if a wandering monster is played, the munchkin in combat will have to defeat that monster to claim the Amazon's treasure. (see Important Note#4 in the FAQ).
