FRAG Gold Tournament Question
 

Does the attribute point you get for winning a round in the game allow you to bring an attribute above the normal max of 4, or is 4 the ceiling no matter what?

4 is only the max for the starting points distribution. After that you can add points wherever you want. A sure way to know this is that under Accuracy it mentions that a 5 Accuracy gets you 3 attacks. That'd be tough to get if 4 was always the max. <grin>

It's fortuitous timing that you'd ask this today, as last night I happened to use those rules for the first time ever. At my demo, the players wanted to be able to add to their stats but we didn't have enough time to play a full tournament. So we played a 5 player game going to 6 Frags to win, but every 2 Frags you got to add a point to your stats. It wound up being a really fun game.

Well, the main reason I asked is because there are other ways than stat increase to get your accuracy above 4 (such as a targeting system or HUD helmet). I always figured that was there for that reason.

Actually, Targeting System only gives you one more die to roll for accuracy, it doesn't increase your number of shots. I don't know about the HUD Helmet.
