Kneepads of Allure -- The New Version

Got my Munchkin: Go Up a Level set today and have a question about the new Kneepads of Allure card.

Say I'm at level 8 and use KoA to force someone to help me. Then an additional monster is wandered in, which would be the winning level if I won the combat. This is not allowed under the new KoA text, but the card doesn't say what happens in the situation where it was initially legal.

Would I simply lose the help, or would I only go to level 9 upon winning?

If its like the French Accent from Booty then you would lose the help.

Your helper would no longer be compelled to help, and since very few people are likely to help you if they were NOT compelled, the assumption is that at that point they can choose to wander off.

Say i am level 6 and i entice a level 9 who becomes an elf we are playing with covictory rules so must he help me or can i say nevermind and leave him alone

I'd say: Don't post a follow-up question that doesn't directly correlate to the actual question asked or an answer given, and instead create a separate thread for your question.
