Boom Dagger
Are the properties of the Boom Dagger active even for a non-thief? Yes, I know it says 'Owner', but that could be to avoid confusion if there are multiple thieves in the game.

Re: Boom Dagger
I'm not seeing your confusion. The Boomdagger is like any other Item -- if you can use it, it works.

Re: Boom Dagger
Pardon, let me clarify.
If a non-thief is carrying/not using the Boomdagger, and he sells it along with other items to go up a level, does it come back to him, or does it only work for a thief who is Using it? |
Re: Boom Dagger
Now I get what you're asking . . . and that's a very good question. By the wording of the card, the answer is "yes," so that's what I'm going with until I get contradicted.

Re: Boom Dagger
You get contradicted? Say it ain't so! ;)
But this opens a small other can of worms. What about other Items that are being Carried/Unused? I'm excluding "worn" items and Hand items. Example: I am Carrying/Not Using the Occasionally Reliable Amulet (for whatever concocted reason). I am hit by a curse...does the Amulet come into play? |
Re: Boom Dagger
Yes, he can be contradicted. I could have already given a ruling on this, or provide evidence that SJ and I have discussed this and already have a standing opinion on the subject. He and I could also take this to SJ alone or the braintrust and get a second opinion. See? It's easy.
Since your initial question was answered and your follow up question is not actually related to your initial question, I'm sorry to say that you're not going to get an answer to it here. |
