Which Expansions do you recommend

I am new to Munchkin and only own the Set 1 and 6 of the Fantasy Munchkin

I'd like to get more expansions for it but there is alot of them which i think would cost too much money.

so i wanted to ask you which expansions do you think are best to get and for what reasons.

I like #4 the Need for Steed. It has fun cards and adds Steeds.
Also Fairy Dust and Waiting for Santa add fun new elements to the game. (Santa Monsters and the Fairy Dust Cards.) And they are cheap.

I had a friend I just gave my orginal set to when I bought the color. I suggested to him to buy #2 to get the monsters rounded out (get the odd numbered ones higher up), then I would buy #4 for steeds (a few cards would have to be held out perhaps). Then I'd buy Santa and Fairy Dust. Then I'd go back and get #3 and #5. He was going to get #6 after #4 anyway, but that is where I would have suggested it.

I know that when I bought them, we just did them in order and it was fine. Looking back, I would do 1, 2, 4, 6, 3 and 5 knowing now. I know I'm different and lots of people suggest in order. The cards are set up for doing it in order of course, so you have to watch classes and races and the applicable cards for them, but I think you'd be ok.

When just getting started, I have to recommend 2 and 3. They round out the game very well, without making things overly complicated. 6 adds a lot of fun and weirdness with no card-dilution. More Good Cards was great, but soon you'll have to get Blender and an unnamed expansion, and pick and choose your cards from them. I would save 4 and 5 until you and your regular players have a very good grasp of the rules, and want to deal with the complications of Steed and advanced Hirelings.
