The item is thrown or placed horizontally?
 

I am wearing ex. a 2 hand sword. I get a curse "you cannot use 2 hand items". Do i have to throw/sell my card or place it horizontally (not get the +2). Can i take it back to my hand? Is there any way to take a card that is in play back to your hand?

Sorry for asking too much but we need to make a clean game.

Nothing in the rules tells you that you can take cards back into your hand, so there's no reason to assume you can do that normally. Seeing as you're allowed to carry Items you can not use, if you're cursed to no longer be able to use a type of Item (as long as you're not told you can't carry such Items, like Curse! Tiny Hands), you don't have to drop the Item. In fact, you can't normally discard Items just because you want to. In the case of a curse which no longer allows you to carry an Item, you must treat those Items like extra Big Items if you lose the basic Hireling or your Dwarf Race: If it's your turn, you may sell it (if you have enough to get to 1,000 GP), or you may trade it to another player regardless of whether it's your turn, as long as you and the other player are not in combat. If you can't find a willing person to trade with, you must give it to the lowest Level player who can take it, or discard it if you are the lowest Level.

Since I'm fairly confident that you're talking about Curse! Tiny Hands, you are not allowed to carry 2 Hand Items, so you'll have to find a way to get rid of it as I described above.

Btw just for the record the greek edition "Tiny Hands" says you can't use 2hand items.Is it just a translation error or the original version of the card says carry instead of use?

In the English version, the card has said "carry" since the very first printing of Unnatural Axe and says so today in the full-color reprint.

To make sure I can't have a Huge Rock then just discard it to equip Unnatural Axe?

You absolutely cannot just discard an Item because you want something else. The 1.5 version of the rules says this explicitly, but it has always been the intent.
