Item Questions

Hello Fellow Munchkins!

These are multiple questions, but they all revolve around a single part of the game, items.

"How exactly do carried items work?"
The items you have before you on the table, are they considered carried, equipped, or something else?

a) How many items can I carry?

b) If I'm allowed to carry only one Big item, does that mean I can only have one big item on the table and the rest must be in my hand? Or can the Big items I'm not using be on the table, and just be turned sideways to show I'm not using them?

c) If i'm a warrior and an item says "Usable by Wizard only", can I have it on the table and turned sideways to show I'm not using it. Or is it not allowed on the table at all due to me not being a wizard?

d) Do the Cheat cards allow you an extra hand/space on your body?
Examples:
*I put the cheat card on a 2 handed weapon, and I already have 2 1 handed weapons equipped. Can I use that 2 handed weapon and the 2 1 handed weapons at the same time?
*I use the cheat card on a armor piece, and I have an armor equipped already. Can I now use both armors at once?
*Can I use the cheat card to equip a ship enhancement, if I have no ship?

Itens played on the table are carried. If is something that takes one "slot" (like a Hand-item, or a Footgear) and you are able to get its bonus, it is ALSO considered weared.

You can carry any number of Small itens, but only one Big Item

Itens on the table are carried, even if sideways. So you can have only one Big Iten in play. Unless you are a Dwarf or have a Cheat card.

You can carry, but not wear the item. So you can turn it sideway. Here I am considering the Iten is small or that it is Big and you don't have other Big Itens in play. See the above answer if the Iten is Big and you already have one Big in play.

You should try reading the Sticky post called Critical Links & Useful Information -- READ ME FIRST!!!. There is one huge explanation on Cheat card here

Re: Item Questions

Well, first of all, ALL Items in play are carried, plain and simple. The ones that you are using are the ones you are getting bonuses from. You can carry 3 Headgear, but only use 1.

a) The rules pretty clearly state that you can carry any number of small Items and one Big Item.

b) You may only carry one Big Item. That means you can only have one in play, normally, though there are cards which let you have more.

c) Yes. The rules clearly state that you may carry Items you may not use, and even give an example of this.

d) The Cheat card removes the restrictions on an Item with respect to you. It does not give you extra slots or change the nature of the Item. Please read this extremely detailed post in the "READ ME FIRST!!!" sticky thread.

Thanks a lot for the replies.
Sorry if my questions made you frustrated, as some of the text seems like your answering a kid's stupid questions. >.<
I'm new to munchkin, and my rules are currently at another house.
So the questions that popped into my head went straight into my question threads.

I'm not frustrated, just trying to make sure you know where to look. Sometimes, it's best to take a step back and then read the rules again. I think I found six new things on the second pass 3 days after the first reading. . .
