Pyramid #3/19: Tools of the Trade – Clerics

Pyramid #3/19: Tools of the Trade – Clerics is now available over on e23. Remember Pyramid #3/1: Tools of the Trade – Wizards? Like that, but for holy folks. You get pure crunch in the form of funky divine auras; sacred gear (specifically, divine artifacts); a game aid to help you track important religious events (like holy days) in the campaign; detailed background info on shamans, sin eaters, templars, and the concept of holy sanctuary; and all the usual trimmings. While this issue is exceptionally Dungeon Fantasy-friendly, don't be fooled by the word "clerics" in the title . . . if your campaign features religion at all, then you won't want to miss this one!

I think the Divine auras are going to be extremely useful in any kind of Fantasy game, as well as I suspect Supers games ;)

Yeah I've already worked up a psi ability that basically gives all those affected a 'tactical com' for a game I'm working up. That Aura enhancement is pretty nifty.

God, this is the most I've posted on the fora in months...

The idea of the sin eaters actually out-cooled the auras, and I bought the issue for the auras.

I liked that article also, but the latter suited my taste for crunch better.
