Boomdagger and cheat/modifiers
 

If Boomdagger gets discarded, it returns to its owner. But what happens if Boomdagger had some modifiers on it or was used with a Cheat card? Do these modifiers/cheat return along with Boomdagger or do they get discarded completely?

Rather than create some card management nightmare, I'd advise against buffing the Boomdagger. . . Cheat! goes, without question, and I'd say the rest stay discarded, too.

But what happens if Boomdagger was not discarded, but stolen (along with its modifiers)? Do the modifiers return to the original owner? (I think they do.)

Cheat! goes, no matter what, still, but if we're keeping the Boomdagger out of the discard pile, I'd keep the enhancers with it.
