Well ,saw the Avatar movie today,in short
Best Movie Ever!

So are there any enthusiastic people who would like to help me create the Na'vi template step by step?
They're 10feet tall (seemed bigger in the movie..) and I think they have Unbreakable bones or such.

A good start would be theyr ST .

Went to see it yesterday. Good movie, yeah. I KNEW someone would come up with exactly that thread title, lol. I imagined it as soon as I walked out of theater. I'm slightly amazed it hasn't occured within 12 hours of the pre-release :)

Well, the bones are not absolutelly unbreakable. But a lot of ST and HP could justify the hard bones.

I could start with

SM + 1
ST + 10 (size, -10%) [90];
HP + 10 (size, -10%) [18]

The agility nature can justify DX or Perfect Balance maybe. But perhapes this is not true because of the hero swet to follow Neytiri.

They should and do have DX higher than an avarage human and Perfect Balance (partialy connected to tail)

How would you model the braid thingy? It has the ability to allow them to mindlink (touch only) with certain plants and animals, but I'm not sure what how you would model it. I would also assume that two Na'vi could use it in the same way, but I don't remember seeing that in the movie.

I (surprisingly) didn't see it either. You can treat it either as a Mind Control (equivalent to Blood Agent on both sides), or as an Accessory (Bio-USB Neural Interface), and give all animals Controls (Blood Agent, only by bio-USB).

I think I would go with the latter option as:

1. they don't seem to really mind control the world tree, they just gain access to racial memories.
2. While he can tell the mount what he wants it to do, it's fairly obvious from his first try's that it's not perfect control. ;)
It seems like they just feel the other connection, and can send thoughts/feelings "across the line".
