Wow, up from 18 to 22 carat gold. I would say 24, but "fear" you might improve even this in the future. ;)
Amazing work.

Top section, left most column of checkboxes, under Ship Options/Design Switches & Features, 5th from the bottom is Pseudo Velocity.

Amazing work.

Thank you. One of these days I need to port over the Ship Saving/Loading routines over to the OpenOffice version; but every time I start to read on the Basic code used in Ooo my eyes begin to glaze over. I don't know why, because half of it works exactly like the VBA used in Excel (or most other Basic languages). It's just that when Ooo Basic goes off the rails it seems to really go off the rails.

Do you mean Boost Velocity (which is right below it)? Psuedo Velocity just means that ships using FTL/Reactionless drives have no momentum. Boost Drives change acceleration values for Reactionless drives into speeds.

Re: GURPS Spaceships Design Spreadsheet

I´m too stupid.

I have Excel 2010, and that things shows me "Options" as "Macros" are disabled.

But i cannot find a way to enable them - in Excel 2000 that was possible, IIRC.

I can only open a "security center", but there i cannot just enable Macros for this sheet - it more seems like a way to enabling them in general, what i sure do not want.
I even "installed" the certificate, but to no avail - just cannot enable the macros.

Why are things to complicated nowadays?!?
:-|

Where is the "enable macros for this sheet" button?

In newer versions of Excel, you can't activate macros for just one sheet - you have to enable them for an entire directory. I have no clue why they decided this was a good idea, but there ya go.

Ah, thanks!

Now i understand, what ericbsmith wrote in the first posting.
That was new to me.

This is realy a crazy idea ... and does not help security at all.

Most people will just enable "secure location" for their complete home directory to not have that problem, instead of just allowing for dedicated sheets.

I hate Office 2010 sooo much for so many reasons and this is just one point more.
