Dire Spider Silk armor can be worn under other armor with no penalty, for +2 DR

Dire Spider Silk armor is very expensive . . . . Fortify 1 is very cheap

Can you cast Fortify on the dire spider silk armor for even mroe DR?
What about the armor it is being worn under?

The rules are a bit unclear as to whether Fortify on different layers of armor stacks, though.

Ditto that. Also, although I cant reference a specific citation, I believe that the DR will also stack. THere is no reason to think that it wouldnt.

I don't allow Fortify to be cast on anything that doesn't have at least DR 1. If it has DR 1 or more then GURPS gives DX penalties for armor layering.

Are you sure you don't mean Giant Spider Silk, the item from Dungeon Fantasy that does exactly this. In which case, its DF, so yes it can be done, yes you can also benefit from a Fortify to the outer layer and no, you don't have to worry about Fortify wearing out. This is DF after all.

It doesn't. You only use the single highest bonus of Fortify for any given hit location. Kromm ruled on this via PM a few days ago.
