[Spaceships] Force screen regeneration

Force screens regenerate completely each space combat turn (Spaceships, p. 16). But at which point during the turn do you declare the force screen regenerated? I'm thinking at the beginning of the ship's next turn, but I can't find anything specific.

That's how I'd do it, too - otherwise, it just complicates things, and Spaceships is all about not complicating things.

Not seeing how it really matters. Your conclusion is how I would do it, but what difference does it make?

This is how you _have_ to do it. There is no "mid-turn". One side's Turn follows the other side's.

If you're really concerned about this you may need more detail than Spaceships can provide. That would mean going with regular Gurps probably. You still can't stop in mid-turn but since the Turns are only 1 second long it's not as big a problem.

Nonono, just making sure I didn't miss a rule somewhere.

Yeah, a really unnice problem, as different interpretations will give very different results when one ship tries to beat through the shields of another.
