Dying killing
 

On my last play I was about to win, I was level 9 and I could beat the monster. But, suddenly, a guy I was playing with used Living Dead on the monster and Nechrophobia on me (I'm not sure about the card name, I don't play the english version), so I had to flee. I rolled the dice and got a 1, so I was dead. Then I said, "well, if I die I die killing" and I tried cursing another player with the Apocalypse Duck, but a third player said that it's a bit lame imagining the munchkin "oh, I'm dying, but before, I cast a Duck so you will suffer too", and I had to stick with it because he was the owner of the game. What do you think about it?

Once you have actually died, you cannot play any more cards. If you had played the Curse before rolling the Run Away attempt, that would be legal.

After you've rolled the dice, and if the bad stuff is you die, your dead immediately- so you can't play that curse on someone, can't sell off your stuff, can't draw cards, etc. There are very few exceptions to this, such as the card, 'Rocks fall, everyone dies' where if you die, so does everyone else for example. From what you described, what you tried to do wasn't petty or spiteful, but in the spirit of the game- but it is against the rules all the same.

Although Munchkin is a game where there are single card exceptions like.....

"Rocks Fall, Everyone Dies"

which is from Munckin Dice is I remember correctly. You can play this card after you have failed to run away....if you died as a result of the failure EVERYONE else dies too.

I have played this card once to kill everyone....it was sweet....we had some overpowered people too and it cleared out all the cards and we all got a fresh start at our current level.

I still lost because one of the players got better then she had :P but hey....I killed everyone and that made me pretty happy so win/win.
