DSA/TDE to GURPS conversion
 

Moin,

after some discussions in the alveran Forum, some users from alveran will try to convert the current DSA(4.x) Rules to GURPS(4).
If anyone from this forum is intersted in helping us, you are welcome.

For DSA we will use the "Wege des/der... Bände" and the LC
For GURPS we will use Basic, Martial Arts, Thaumathology and Magic, and possible some more Books & pdf´s.

I could maybe help out a little, at least I have some experience with converting and playing GURPS-DSA (although it was in 3rd ed. that I did this).
Do you have a wiki or something where the stuff is posted?

Also here were already some threads covering this conversion...

IMO the templates of Collective Restraint are quite good, you can find

We are just staring with this so, no wiki.

Hello!

I am Laraan from the Alveran forum. There I am a strong "advocate" for the GURPS System to use for The dark Eye roleplaying system, because of the bad rules this system has. So the idea was born to convert the flair of the world of Dere (the Planet) to a useable, intelligent system, GURPS!

Since this seems to be a lot of work, we are searching for people who have interest in or the need for such a conversion.

However, we are thankful for any help that can be given.

Maybe, the idea becomes truth, so that sometimes all the unsatisfied The dark Eye users can turn over to an easy to use game mechanism...

So far, so good... so why not!

Are there any further convertions done now? Or is this thread gone to Boron?
