[4e] GURPS IOU

I'm planning on running a GURPS IOU campaign online starting in time for the 2009 school year, I own the book, but was wondering if anyone had already converted what little crunch there is in it (some feats, critters, items) to 4e already, don't want to re-invent the Plasmatronic Wheel if I don't have to, you know...

Excellent, thank you. Search wasn't working for me earlier. :(

Working on the ...Things this week.

Mundanity 0 [0 points]: Unfazeable [15] plus Delusion: None Of This Is Real [-15]. You can trade away the Unfazeable, but not the Delusion.

Mundanity 1+ [40 points/level]: Mana Damper [10/level] plus Cosmic (all extranormal abilities, not just magic, +300%).

Actually, I wouldn't package Unfazeable in there. Mundanes are hardly immune to mundane fright and surprise - if you jump out at one from a dark corner, they're still going to shriek and jump. It's just that if you're a werewolf jumping out, you'll find yourself a human in a werewolf costume instead. But you'll still have startled them.
And Mundanes are still going to be confused a lot, and ask silly questions, like "Why are people always shooting sci-fi and fantasy movies on this campus, anyway?"

Actually, I wouldn't call it Mana Damper. For one thing, there's too much headache in trying to apply "mana levels" to psi, superpowers, etc. I'd call it several variants of Static with Resistable - basically, however many power sources you're allowing in an IOU game, build Mundanes with Static against them all. The second level of Mundanity simply adds one level of Area Effect to the Statics. The third level adds Neutralize with Cosmic (Affects all sources), Ranged, Always On, Unconscious Only, Uncontrollable, Sense-Based (Vision), and Terminal Condition ("Mundane stops looking at subject", definitely worth -20%).
It's going to come in at a lot pricier than IOU's 5 points/level, but honestly I never bought that price anyway.

Couldn't we work up something along the lines of Control (Reality) for the more powerful mundanes?

That would seem more fitting to me, as it isn't resistible.

I'm going to have to figure this one out...

Edit: Never mind. The cost ended up in the hundreds of points. :(

The ability to effectively negate every supernatural and wierd science ability should be in the hundreds of points region

Here's a quick write-up for a new area on (under) campus...

The Dork Underground:
The Dork Underground is somewhere within the Steam Tunnels of IOU, its secret is strictly kept by the nerds, geeks, and dorks that know of its existence. Originally, the dork underground was originally created as a place for a group of gamers to get together and game without being hassled by The Team. However, word of it spread quickly and soon several gamer groups used the area for their own purposes. Over time, the Dork Underground began to attract food vendors, shops, and those gamers who refused to stop gaming with their college buddies. Meanwhile on the surface world, the Dork Underground faded from the memories of the gamer crowd until it was just a dim memory, though once in a while an original map might surface in a dorm room or off campus apartment. Because the way is perilous, not many have made it there and returned to tell the tale.

I'll post up the rest of it when I'm done writing it...

The Dork Underground:

I'll be adding this to my IOU games. Great idea.

May I suggest "Dork Tunnels" instead of "Dork Underground?" That way we get a pun thrown in for good measure.
