Battleship SM+12 USL (TL 10^)
The Warhammer and her sister ships (Gada and Tetsubo) are the newest and most controversial battleships in Imperial service. Intended to deliver maximum firepower at extreme range they are the first major Imperial starship to carry a spinal mount weapon. This concept has not previously been part of the Imperial design tradition. However the firepower demonstrated by Sanal warships with spinal mount weapons in the recent war has led some design teams to examine the concept. The Armor may be a little light and some grenade throwers or a railgun would be a nice support option.
A TL 10 40mm Railgun does 6d*25(3) damage on a RoF of 20 Rcl2, making 2 hits a round against an DR 43 possible each hit doing damage 25-150 pts. But the other weopons from UT dont have this neat anto armor feature. Two good hits and 30 brave marines are ready to get there own drop ship named after them. As you sayed better not mess with anti armour... But this could be a nice option for an WW 2 styled campain.....****ing 44rs... Also it could mean TPK.... |

The Dragon-class ships are typically the largest ship in a ILN task force. One unusual feature is having the major weapons in turrets rather than being in fixed mounts as is usual. Many Dragon-class ships have had a few missile turrets replaced with either cargo holds, fuel tanks, or hangar bays. They are frequently used as flagships and are popular with naval crews due to their well appointed living quarters.
