I have one of those surnames that everybody has coupled with a very common first name. Tracking me down via the internet is nearly impossible. ;)

According to the Basic Set, all bows have their own ST value. What do you say about a Perk that lets you ignore this - all bows you pick up adapt to your ST? (You'd still be susceptible to minimum ST requirements.)

More on the powerul side I think - I'd allow a perk that lets you ignore this for one specifiv bow though...

It's on the high side for a perk, but I think it's okay in a rather cinematic game. I'd allow it in, say, DF.

One could view it as something similar to 'Always has a bow matched to his ST', with the specificity of the item balanced by the fact that he needs to have access to a bow in the first place.

It would be cinematic. Realistically, a weak bow doesn't get stronger because it's pulled harder -- it breaks.

I'd consider it conceptually a form a Signature Gear (my bow) except that instead of recovering *your* particular bow, any other bow you get hold of happens to be a perfect replacement. So yeah, provided you are in a setting that allows magical or cinematic traits and where bows don't cost more than 1 point worth of Signature Gear will buy, no problem.

Subversion
Prerequisites: Code of Honor, Disciplines of Faith, Honesty, Vow, etc.
Choose ONE circunstance or requirement from your moral restriction. You can choose to ignore that particular restriction, rolling against a two-step higher self-control roll, or against your Will. This represents a distorted interpretation from the rule in question, so you have a -2 to social interactions (reactions, skill rolls or challenges, call for aid, etc) to characters that share your moral restriction, and already have seen you breaking that rule in question.

Exemple: Abe has Honesty(6). But, according his subverted understanding, he "can" steal in case of dire need, like pain or hunger. So, to steal food to eat or medicine to heal himself, Abe would roll against 12, not 6. If Bob, the honest NPC, catch Abe stealing, he will have a -2 reaction from Abe, since to him, Abe only pretend to be a law-abiding citzen.

No recoil a cinematic combat perk

Galen's Fallacy When someone is in your medical care, a Daily Leadership roll gives the patient +1 to Ht rolls to overcome disease and injury.
