Acute Mediated Sense (Specify Sense) - Acute vision, hearing, smell/taste, etc., but only when senses are mediated through video recording, holographics, 'sensies', magical divination, psionics, or whatever.

Note that this is NOT Zeroed ... there may well be records with a great deal of information on you. It's just that none of them will include a mug shot.

I'd let it go as a perk in this era or if you mentioned the complications in modern society about not being able to get your picture taken. It's likely that you would not have a passport or driver's license, be able to access any secure locations that require a retinal or facial scan or have your picture available in any other beneficial situation.

Otherwise, this is way too powerful for societies where cameras are on every street corner, filming your every move.

Fair enough. It was conceived of with a historical era in mind. And yes, in a modern society, this *should* cause complications.

I recall a thread where I asked about No Reflection vs. Invisibility to Machines (Mirrors). It's a pretty messy and GM-involving choice.

As a perk it wouldn't be so much that photos can't be or haven't been taken of the character, just that there's no link between such photos and his identity. He can show up anonymously in crowd shots or security footage, but there's no high school yearbook entry for him or press photos with his name in a caption.

How about a similar Perk- Not on Google: Simple websearches on a character's name either give no hits at all, or a random mess of unrelated people with similar names.

I almost happen to have this- the only things I can find doing a vanity search are some posts I made to a Star Trek forum back in the days of dial-up BBS's, and some guy in Philadelphia who is a professional "business astrologer."

I think that's no much of a Perk. Pretty much anyone who uses InContact instead of the more Western fora or the like is Not On Google, because Google doesn't index their pages, period.

I have a friend with the surname Lake; the first couple of hits on his name come up with geographical features.
