skill for "Riding" ?
 

A skill to cover riding (horse riding primarily, but could also cover camel riding) would not seem to be all that important in a "modern day" campaign. But it would be of vital importance in a more "historical" setting.

Would "Agility, default: -1" sound about right for this?

In my historical campaign we use Agility -2. For driving a team of horses/oxen/mules we use Precision -1.
