I'd shrug, but on a spur of the moment impulse, I picked up DF 3 the other day, and was blown away by how awesome it was.

So I'll probably end up getting this as well. Eventually.

Well, I had already decided that DF 4 would cover some of the "missing templates" from my original outline, and since people had actually asked for learned characters here several times, the choice was easy. :)

If the choice was easy, on the other hand the design was superb. This is very good stuff.

I suppose if you could crank out 100 more pages of material it could get compiled in to a hard cover, too.....

Seriously though, great book, just downloaded it; I like the treatment on the not-so-swordsy character types a lot so far. I am now lobbying my gaming groups to submit to the might of a Dungeon Fantasy campaign.

This once-a-month trend is a bad precedent. If you skip a month without a Dungeon Fantasy release, it could get kind of ugly! Be careful....

I probably won't have time to download this until tomorrow (or at least later this evening), but I'm looking forward to it. My prediction: not quite as awesome as the other three, but still awesome. Besides, you can't have dwarves and gnomes without artificers.
