Increasing physical traits of possessed victims
Hi,
I'm still working on converting the Spirit Form adv. from 3e. One of the abilities of the form is adding 1/5 of the ST of the possessing spirit to the ST of the victim of possession. For example, a ST 10 spirit possesses a ST 10 victim and the victim's body's ST increases to 12 for as long as the spirit's in there. How would you work that? My thought: ST +1 (Adds to victim's ST, +0%; Only While Using Possession, -10%) [9] Thoughts? Thanks, Jerander. |
Re: Increasing physical traits of possessed victims
Maybe a ST bonus as an Affliction:Advantage, linked to Possession.

I thought your first line of reasoning made sense:

Another player has a posessing entity in a game I'm in. He has an Affliction (Aura, always on, 1 hr Onset Time (Requires exposure), Accessability: only when possessing) that grants Spines, Regeneration, Claws, some DR IIRC, and some ST. |

No way having a limitation changes the way your stats impact the victim. |

Affliction Morph. Template with ST bonus.

It still doesn't magically change Posession so that your attributes affect the victims attributes. If you have ST 12 all the time, it doesn't give your victim a +2 ST. Why on earth would limiting it change this? |

Affliction doesn't seem appropriate though, especially since it's only a minor Cosmic enhancement. I'd price it as: ST +2 (Cosmic, Only Puppets During Possession, +50%) [30] |
