I have page numbers in both pdfs, too, and I suspect I'm not alone.

Its a neat little book. I bought it and am getting it printed up right now with a spiral binding and a blue cardstock front and back cover =). I am using that cool Fedex Kinkos online thingy and I pick the book up in the afternoon today. It cost like $6.50 to print and bind. =)

They provide the covers and spiral? If so, cool . . . I'll have to check that out. Then again, being in Canada, it's probably not available.

Are you reading a copy you printed out? Did you print it with no scaling? If your printer has a wide bottom margin, the page numbers may have been cut off. Change the scale to fit the entire page on the paper and print it again.

Yea totally. You upload the PDF onto their online system thingy, and you choose the print options, paper, binding, cover. Then you get a preview. Then you pay for it, and the job gets processed. In a few hours, like 6 hours for the 2 Dungeon Fantasy books, you go pick them up =). Im actually on my way out to get them now, and Ill post back on the quality.

An update. I just got back from kinkos. The 2 Dungeon Fantasy books costed me like 14 bucks to get printed, bound, and have a cool blue cardstock cover with the book cover printed on it. While I was there, I asked about binding books I had already printed up in color (at work hehe). It was 4.50 to bind Martial Arts with a cool clear cover thingy. MUCH cheaper than what I was doing before with the page protectors and the 3-ring binders, and much more portable. All in all, Im gonna take the books I have out of the 3 ring binders and take them to kinkos to get them to bind them for like dirt cheap (spiral binding rocks since it can lay flat =)), and give my wife the page protectors and binders for her school stuff =). Im a very happy customer, PDF's rock!

*sighs* so unfair.
I really wish we had something like that here in Sweden.

Staples offers a similar service in Canada, through staplescopyandprint.ca - I haven't tried it yet, I just know it exists.

They also offer (in-store, at least; don't know about online) "wireless" binding, which makes the bound book look like a plastic-covered real book but is limited to no thicker than a GURPS 3e supplement. It's what I used to bind the In Nomine IPG I bought from e23 - it holds up well in actual use, and the book doesn't look too out-of-place beside the other books in the line.

Thanks, Rob. I'll have to give them a look! I'm carless, so it'll depend a lot on how close the nearest Staples is. They keep buying the local chain, so I might have one three blocks from here . . .
