It would take quite a while -- an hour, maybe? -- to chip the body free. Severing the hand would only take a few seconds.

Okay, thanks. Editing my last IC post. Xerxes is offering to sever the right hand and bring it along.

What's a galley station?

With only one body, and everyone else vanished (along with their personal possessions) it sounds like we've got another mass kidnapping here.

a kitchen. This is a small one, not really set up for cooking for 50.

Won't be able to post over the next few days. Going to Greece.

Just giving a heads up.

Andrew will continue to operate where he can.

Culture, mainly stuck around Athens. Also went up to the Temple of Delphi.

Was fun.

Just to let you guys know, I'm going to Greece in a few days and won't be able to post (much) for about a week.

Have fun. It seems everyone is going to Greece lately. :D I'd like to go over there some day.

I'm glad that you had fun over there Lonewulf. :)

Sure quiet here... I guess I didn't miss anything, though (I'm still in Greece for another couple days, just checking in from an internet cafe on Santorini).

Hope you're having fun. :) Yeah, it's been pretty quiet.

I hope Dscheidt is okay. He's been off the forums for almost three weeks now. I sent him an email a couple of days asking if he was okay and I haven't got a reply yet.

Sheesh, we better watch our backs. It seems this game makes people fall off the forums... first Fleckenzwerg, now dscheidt.

Re: [OOC] The Catacombs, hard SF

I was just thinking that games over here seem to be cursed. Incard's game never really gets off the ground, ditto Ladyarcana55's, Fleckenzwerg just vanishes, then Hanuman47, and now Dscheidt, not to mention Jerniox who has been gone for extended periods of time and who never even started his game.

Of all the games I signed for over here, only one, Icelander's, is still going. :(

I really hope that this game is not dead. I like the character and was looking forward to increasing his skills and solving the mysteries.
