The post was fine.

I see. Sort of a more advanced version of what astronauts use these days.

I'm glad about the post. I'm deliberately trying to stretch my roleplaying muscles.

I guess I wasn't clear, but there's no gravity in the docks or aboard ship. That's why coffee is being served in squeeze bottles.

Wait, does that mean that there's no gravity in the lounge? If so, Andrew would leave behind the wheel chair.

Does that mean people aren't sitting in chairs?

Hard to sit down, when you don't know which way that is. There are places to attach yourself to a wall, and when the ship is accelerating or decelerating, there will be chairs. Right now, the only place to sit is on an exercise machine. You could assume a sitting position, but if you're out of reach of a wall, you're stuck, unless you've got a rocket of some sort.

The lounge is huge, remember. It's 12 meters long, and is rtoughly a 1/3 wedge of cylinder 40 meters in diamter. That gives it a volume of about 5000 cubic meters. That's about 350 dTons, as used in Traveller. (Traveller has cargo ships that size....) A good-sized lecture hall is that size. Don't forget that, without gravity, it's possible to easily make use of all three dimensions. A hundred people, evenly distributed, would make the room feel nearly empty.

Okay, editing my IC post so it makes sense.

Seeing's the game's been started, am I to assume there won't be any new characters showing up in the middle of the campaign? (And here I was waiting for the rest of the world to get uploaded.)

Last minute cargo? All my paranoia buttons have been pressed: Aliens? (as in the movie), Other dangerous critters that are going to get lose and go rampaging?, Rampaging experimental bots? What could this be?
