Uh.. I guess she'll do some research... learn enough to get defaults in planetology, space colonization, salvage, and other things that seem related. Also, she'll have the ships computers run searches for her own face connected to other names.
And of course do whatever repairs and so on she's able to help with. And if there's any time left over, she'll use the gym equipment.
EDIT: Oh yeah, and if it can come up in conversation (with a little prodding... those points in Smooth Operator should start pulling their weight ;)), she's going to try to figure out why the captain is yellow, why the steersman is blue and has a tail, and why none of the crew seem to find this odd.
