IN rules question

Only just discovered 'In Nomine', we've played a few session and the game plays really well... Players like it, I like it, only wish I'ld come across it sooner.

Just wondering about combat in particular the effects of songs and Choir abilities.
One of My players having a Malakite of Fire, when combat rears its head he wreaths his hands in holy flame and also uses one of the corpus song to grow claws. The question being does the damage from Choir/Servitor ability add to or replace the damage from the claws?

Also is there any more superior pdfs in the pipeline?

Cheers
Paul

I play the GURPS version, but I would certainly think even in the original rules the effects add. Flaming claws... interesting image.

Just thinking logistically (i.e. when in doubt, use common sense rather than canon), the effects would add if the claws connect. However the hands are now bright and flamey, telegraphing their location and motion to their intended victim. It should be a bit harder to connect for that reason.
