Dramatic Kronos entrance?

Hey there, I'm looking for a good way to dramatically introduce Kronos to my campaign. (Not necessarily Kronos HIMSELF, but just the fact that his faction has taken interest in the PC's activities).

Right now, I'm wrapping up a several session adventure where the PCs (a Malakite of Revelation, a very logical Elohite of Destiny, a Seraph of Judgement, and a Ofanite of Lightning) have majorly messed with one of Mammon's plans to protect a forming tether in a Mexican tourist town.
Along the way they will have also set Nybbas back a bit and given a metaphoric middle finger to Kevin the Terrible up in Los Angeles.

The player playing the Elohite to Destiny is very protective of Yves and adheres to a very strict code to following his plans. I'd love to find a way to introduce Kronos to this group (and particularly this player) that gives an impression that Kronos may very well be Yves' equal. Since I've never done much with Kronos or his minions in the past, I have a hard time wrapping my head around just how to do that.

Any help would be appreciated!

One little thought come to mind. The Ehloite of Destiny finds a letter addressed to him. The letter reads:

Lovely little obsession you have there. Expect to see you soon.

emo plot hook

One possibility is the Elohite finds Yves crying over a person who has been corrupted by Fate.

Seeing him so emotional is highly unusual, perhaps unprecedented. The Archangel will explain the bare facts, but it sounds like a more or less typical case of a person facing temptation, and yielding to a gentle push from the Servitors of Kronos. The Elohite will presumably want to investigate why the Fate of this particular individual moved Yves more than the multitudes of other damned. (S)he will presumably not want to mention to the others that he gave in to his emotions so dramatically.

document plot hook

The Servitor of Yves is researching in his Library, and comes across a sheet of paper with a message in Helltongue. Translated, it turns out to refer to a human NPC who crossed paths with the PCs recently, although the Elohite didn't have a direct influence on him. The details would be different, but it says something like:

Aranoth,

Congratulations on keeping Miguel from changing jobs - make sure he stays on the correct path. Some Host attention is Foreseen in the next week or two, I expect you to deal with any interference. Glad to see that you have avarice under control too.

Harazah
The author might be known as a demon of Fate, although the addressee is unfamiliar. It appears that the angels have unwittingly led someone a little further towards Fate, and some Servitor of Kronos was in a position to take the credit. He might even be manipulating the PCs to further his own goals. Maybe the whole document is a plant to lure the characters into a trap, but that would imply Kronos has some control over the mysterious page-ranking algorithm of Yves' Library.

You could add some passing mention of Aranoth having some important objective, if you think the hook needs juicier bait. Or maybe later the angels find out about the same demon taking credit for something else they did.

If the Elohite has Divine Destiny, or the Malakite gets a check digit 6 roll on some human, you could drop a "WOAH! One of the important ones!" splat on the angels when they idly ping random humans.

Of course, Kronos likes the important ones. He likes them to fail. There's already a demon of Fate assigned. Perhaps a Balohite (Bal with Elohite resonance), for that delightful equal-but-wearing-a-goatee vibe. Balakim are fun, too.

But for really annoying and dangerous, you can't beat a Baliotate, if that's the word. Hard to find, harder to pin down, and with the best armour against angels. The Seraph suddenly needs a (modified) CD of 6 to be sure of anything anyone says. The Malakite would learn to identify the villain, but has an unpleasant choice about what to do to each host. The Elohite would court Word dissonance by fighting on the demon's terms. The Ofanite would need to catch someone who can travel by telephone (or at least by videoconference).

Another equal-but-goateed strategy is to deploy a Balseraph, Djinn, Lilim and Impudite of Fate. For once, the Infernals will have a big edge in information-gathering.

Thanks for the great suggestions!

I ended up with a Balohite messing up with the otherwise strong plans of the PCs. I used Beth's suggestion of "whoa! one of the important ones!" as one of the finalists of a demonic controlled reality show.

So eager to destroy the reality show, the angels single-mindedly convinced the finalist to quit the show prematurely to pursue his back-at-home love interest who was about to move out of town... a hint provided to them by the "full of helpful hints" Balohite.

The Elohite mistook the Balohite for an allied Elohim, and never bothered to use his Divine Destiny to figure out that this love interest was already married, and that returning to her was the exact thing that would spiral him towards a sad, adulterous Fate. (His excuse? He only had one Essence left and wanted to save it... Yves was no doubt disappointed...)

In any case, the PCs -- particularly the Elohite -- were shocked and awed that they had been so easily manipulated, and have a newfound respect for demons that show no interest in actually *fighting* anyone.

Next session I'll roleplay the mission debriefing to Yves, which should prove interesting...

That does sound like fun. Unfortunately I can't get away with that anymore. For some odd reason if the Sereph in Celestial form, in Heaven tells them something, they still verify what they have been told- if it's a much less reliable source then they tripple verify it.
