Zombie disease

Roll to resist infection (once bitten) as per vampire/werewolf.
If contracted make a 4/ST each day or lose 1 IQ, subject becomes increasing irrational as this goes down, but strangely retains basic weapons talents.
Once IQ reaches zero become a mindless wandering zombie and lose 1 ST/day. (Zombie ring prevents ST loss, but not IQ loss.)

A virulent Zombie Plague is a major feature in a campaign I play some characters in. It's nasty and keeps us on our toes!

Let them keep all IQ 7 talents and then they can be fun to hang out with in bars.

Once you get past the smell, it's OK.

For a "natural" zombie, I'd make the ST loss more gradual, maybe per week or even month. (And postponed by eating brains, of course.)

"Zombie disease" is the subject of diseases suffered by zombies, most notably "failure to enzombify" also known as "life". It can be cured by a healthy zombie biting the victim.
