Thanks. I was able to roll dice since then. But for me the radiobutton for the game doesn't come up unless I look for it.

Part of the issue for me is a perceptual/vision issue, and part is the security I use. I've done work as a journalist and have had some connections to investigative work. So I use a doubly secure Internet connection. A lot of websites don't like that.

Rainy Day, are you good with Thad taking point?

Of course! That's his job.

I just noticed something I failed to specify in the IC thread. Oops.

On December 30, I posted:

In my next post, I said:

We're not only avenging the dead who no longer need what rations they had, we're traveling to save the living. I would think people would be more than willing to help us out with getting rations. I would suggest both of you check while I finish analyzing the tracking of our enemies and our people that I have done."

I was going to post that, as Anoras has Miserliness, if I didn't make the roll she was going to "haggle and complain interminably" over the price of rations. But before I posted that, I thought to "hunt for the best deal possible" would be not spending any money on food at all! As that worked, I didn't need to roll.

But I forgot to specify that. Sorry about that.

In any case, we did get food for free, so I guess it won't change anything in game play anyway. I just wanted to let you know my thoughts.

I was hoping for something from rainy day ninja, but...

200 yards is -12

Due to her low skill 16, that would be 4. Unlikely.

She can aim, gets it to 7. Still really bad.

Aiming for 3 rounds and doing an all out attack gets it to a less awful 10

that is (assuming she makes her fast draw roll) 1 round to ready bow, 3 to aim, 1 to lose. During which she is a sitting duck for enemy fire. But seems the best bad option so is what intend to do

I rather hate to post this now that we're getting to the action. Without going into details, I may not be online for a bit. I wish I could say how long, but I honestly don't know.

If it will drag things out, ericthered has my permission to treat my character as an NPC until I return.
