Realm Management: Other Realms?

As I start a deep-read through Realm Management (love it!), as always I find myself wondering if someone has already done the heavy lift for me or if it might come down the SJG pipeline. Sorry. I'm lazy.

Is there a desire out there to see other treatments for RM?

Is there a desire to see treatments for other "realms" like space, oceanic (sub-surface and surface), and underground?

Also, is that tech-based or magic-based?

Has anyone already done any of the groundwork for this?

Read: I want this.

The GURPSwiki has collected some examples from the boards into the Realms category. Right now the listings that actually have stats are:
*Centrum
*The Empire
*The Kingdom
*Duchy of Lionsborough
*County of Marcona
*The Rebel Barony
*The Subjugated Realm
*Terranova

Necro-Kingdom of Zarthus and Cardiel don't have stats

Zarthus is one of the worked examples in Realm Management, so presumably its stats are omitted from the wiki for reasons of copyright.

One thing I would like to see at some point is rules for realms that don't produce enough food (or some other critical resource) to feed their population and have to import it. (This is a matter of concern for many ancient trading city-states, some modern nations in the world economy, and of course any city that doesn't govern the surrounding farmland.) Presumably, the rules would amount to "lose some portion of income that is spent on the imports, and start starving if trade connections are broken for long," but, given that we have Agricultural resource points, I feel like they ought to be worked into it somehow.

Another thing I'd like would be rules for realms where development and maintenance aren't directly controlled by the rulers. Many a medieval lord, when he wanted a city built or a bridge maintained, didn't pay for them himself but instead said "I'll grant you autonomy and tax privileges if you'll live here, or if you take responsibility for this". Under the current rules, this could be handled by simply declaring that the lost tax income is represented by the cost of building the improvement, but it would be nice, in an RPG, to have more detailed rules for the interpersonal interactions that go into this sort of thing.

One thing that isn't really clear (or I missed it) is how "nested" Realms interact with each other. For the US it would be Country/Parish < State < Federal. The EU has something similar.

I believe that Mr. Rice has discussed that as a possible future expansion. I'd really like to see it, myself, since it would enable some pretty sophisticated Empires as well as (potentially, and in concert with Boardroom & Curia) corporations.
