Bullfrog Kung Fu

Inspired by this video called "Bullfrog Battle Royale". It is from a BBC documentary and features David Attenborough and a lot of frogs.

Bullfrog Kung Fu
Bullfrog males gather in the center of ponds to sing (a group of bullfrogs is known as a chorus, which I find delightful) to attract females. The closer to the center of the pond, the better. So naturally they fight each other - this is mostly done by jumping into each other and see who bounces farthest. But there's also biting and wrestling moves involved.

A bullfrog brawler uses Brawling for biting and Jumping for their "pounces". There are also some wrestling moves involved. A cinematic bullfrog (possibly a giant one) would be able to take enormous leaps and remain as immovable as a rock.

Skills: Brawling, Jumping, Wrestling.
Techniques: Head Lock; Wrench (Arm).
Cinematic Skills: Flying Leap; Immovable Stance; Kiai*; Push.
Perks: Jumping Tackle; Swallow Head.

(There is an appalling lack of frog-specific techniques in Martial Arts)

Optional Traits
Skills: Singing; Survival (Swamp).
Perks Caruso

Caruso
You can use Singing instead of Sex Appeal when trying to woo frog ladies.

Jumping Tackle
When doing a pounce, you can substitute your Jumping skill instead of DX or some other skill. With this perk, you get to add +1 to ST for pouncing purposes if you have Jumping at DX+2, and +2 if you have Jumping at DX+3.

Swallow Head
This allows you to use a Brawling bite attack to initiate a Head Lock. Since bullfrogs have Born Biter 3, they can do this on quite large opponents (including other bullfrogs).

There are some guidelines for making up martial arts for races with different body plans or parts in GURPS Furries.

Needs Kiai as a Cinematic Skill.

The bumping each other part made me think Sumo Wrestling might be appropriate.

Is Musical Instrument (Banjo) a valid complementary skill?

Oh, now that's just totally right.

Yeah, I thought so at first but NateH over at the Discord pointed me to the flying tackle and pounce rules, which let you use Jumping instead. And frogs using Jumping skill was just too perfect to pass up.

I did one for cats back in 2008, so wait another 14 years.
